Senior Content Producer

Whistle is a creative communications agency based in Newbury. We’re searching for a Senior Content Producer that can make our clients stand out from the crowd. Our talented new recruit must have at least 5 years experience in either the automotive or motorsport sectors and a proven, robust understanding of social media and how it can be used to achieve outstanding results.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading Whistle’s social media service, providing us and our clients with strategic direction, as well as planning and implementing creative campaigns
  • Leading the development and implementation of editorial and social content plans to maintain client profiles and meet Whistle’s own comms requirements. This will involve producing social posts, press releases, features, website copy and event reports
  • Managing key client accounts, leading the delivery of PR and communications support
  • Contributing to research and generating creative activation ideas that can be used to support the production of commercial sponsorship proposals
  • Writing and distributing motorsport event reports, via social media posts and / or press releases. This will involve some weekend work.
  • Assisting with other ad hoc content projects encompassing written, film or photographic mediums.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Outstanding copywriter
  • Content/comms background
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience of creating content strategies across all comms channels
  • Robust understanding of content marketing and its measurement
  • Excellent networking and relationship skills with an entrepreneurial flair
  • Ability to manage stakeholder feedback and ensure it’s reflected in final output
  • Knowledge of CMS, social content tools and mailing systems

Social media whizz

Our thriving Newbury-based communications agency needs a bright, creative and highly-driven social media whizz to join its ranks.

As a full-time member of our team, we want you to analyse and understand the needs of clients, before then implementing the carefully-considered social strategies that you will have developed for them.

What’s our definition of a ‘whizz’? Our ideal candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of the social media landscape, a proven track record running B2C and B2B channels across the main platforms, and an ability to generate engaging and relevant content using different tactics and treatments.

It would also be great if you have a passion for motorsport.

Other skills must include:

We are searching for an enthusiastic and proactive mid-weight designer to join the Whistle team. The successful candidate can expect to work with an exciting range of clients – from blue chip to boutique, and in sectors ranging from insurance to international motorsport.

Applicants must have a solid design background, gained through at least 2 years in-house or agency-side, and have a proven ability to lead projects that deliver excellent results.

Skills and competences:

A passion for design and digital comms
Proven ability to create and develop concepts across all mediums from digital and social, to events and print
A motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
Excellent eye for detail and accuracy
Three to five years’ experience in managing projects from planning to sign-off
